The Browserbase Free Plan (Finally!)

We finally did it!

Today, we're thrilled to announce what many of you have been asking for – a free plan at Browserbase. We've designed our free plan to give you a better experience with our platform, more time to understand our value proposition, and a place for your personal projects.

What's changing?

Our previous sign up experience included 10 total web browser sessions to test our product. While this was a starting point, we've heard from many of you that it didn't provide enough opportunity to properly evaluate Browserbase and understand how it could fit into your workflows.

Starting February 25, 2025, our new free plan includes:

• 60 minutes of browser sessions per month recurring monthly from your sign-up date

• 15-minute maximum session duration to help you manage your time efficiently

• 7-day data retention for all your sessions

• The same reliable browser automation you expect from Browserbase

Why we’re launching this now

For those familiar with browser automations, we want you to have a chance to explore and test the exciting features we’ve recently rolled out. It should be easy to get started and seamless to grow with us when it’s time.

For those less familiar with browser automations, we want to make them more accessible! Build your first automation, test out Stagehand, or experiment with new ideas, on us.

We also just think Browserbase is really cool, and we want you to experience this for yourself. The free plan is your chance to explore.

It’s important to us that the free plan is generous enough to power your personal projects, while also balancing the real cost of providing the browser infrastructure behind it. We built a script that looks up a recipe and orders the ingredients, and it only takes about 10 browser minutes. That means you could run this 6 times per month!

Now you can build that restaurant reservation bot or automate your grocery delivery, for free.
